Chiropractors
Dr Stuart Ward
Chiropractor
Dr Stuart Ward spent the majority of his younger years competing in basketball and track & field before beginning to study law. He discovered early on that despite his desire to help people, he was stuck with solving problems AFTER they occurred, not before. He looked back to his real interests in the human body & optimal performance and after much research discovered that it was chiropractic that dealt with where health and performance TRULY comes from. Since graduating the 5 year undergraduate and post-graduate Masters degree with distinction, Dr Stuart has devoted countless hours toward understanding what it takes for YOU to be functioning at 100%, not to mention human structure and function (the biomechanics of posture), nutrition, paediatrics (kids), anatomy and radiology.
Dr Jordan Roberts
Chiropractor
Dr Jordan Roberts has always had an interest in health care and wanted to be involved in the health care profession, helping people to become and remain healthy. He initially started studies in nursing then pursued a career in nuclear medicine but found that this did not align with his core values of remaining healthy, as nuclear medicine is reactive in nature. Dr Jordan’s passion is preventative and wellness care, helping people achieve optimal health. Fortunately he met a brilliant chiropractor through his studies and found that chiropractic sat perfectly with his paradigm of health. He graduated from Macquarie University with a firm grounding in anatomy, physiology and a passion for rehabilitation. Outside of chiropractic, Dr Jordan enjoys practising yoga and the many benefits he reaps from practising as well...

Matt knew there was more he could do to create more profound changes in his clients’ health which lead him to studying Chiropractic. Graduating with his Masters of Chiropractic from Macquarie University in Sydney, he worked briefly in Sydney before moving to sunny Mackay and then making his way finally to Brisbane, which he now calls home. Emily has been practicing Yoga since 2004 and teaching since 2014 in Central Queensland. A deep desire to increase this connection with herself and others as well as her knowledge and own practice, she commenced her teacher training, with little intention to teach. However, with the personal inspiration and energy she found through the practice of yoga, the desire to share and empower other people became strong.
Shaun Devrieze
Yoga Instructor
I started practising in 2012, I was hooked after my very first class. Unfortunately, two weeks after my first class I had a motorbike accident and ended up with my left hand and arm in plaster for six weeks. The day after my cast was removed I was back in the room practising. At the time I was working as a prison officer and found my practice to be extremely beneficial for my mental health as well as my physical health. In 2015 after 10 years as an officer, I was ready for a change so when the opportunity arouse for me to train with Bonfire to become a teacher I knew it was meant to be.
